Going-to-the Sun Road

Going-to-the Sun Road is a narrow, two-lane road that runs from the east entrance to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Its winding hairpin turns are not for the faint of heart. The highest point on the 50-mile road is Logan Pass. At this point there’s a steep hiking trail to a beautiful alpine meadow that’s inhabited by bighorn sheep and mountain goats.
